I’m very excited about the EZ Bass addition to the Toontrack product line and can’t wait to add it to my SD3 and EZ Keys Libraries.
In most instances whether live or recorded, the bass and the kick drum are inseparable which of coarse leads to a rock solid rhythm section. What I would like to suggest is the integration of EZ Bass and SD3/EZ Drums in a way that the bass can follow the Kick pattern in a programmed song. Within the Bass track you would have the chord progression, I’m assuming, very much like an EZ keys track. Most bass lines will follow the root of the chord progression played in unison with the kick. This function would allow the bass to sync to the kick pattern without having to go through the process of having to program that. You could then go into the EZ Bass track and change any passages, fills or alternate root notes as desired
Thanks to all at Toontracks and look forward to the 2019 products lineup. joe.

Thanked by: ToMaN, David Gray and HenrikThat’s exactly how I imagined it working. Let’s hope Toontrack thinks the same way ?
Each instrument has a different tone, function in a band or musical context Both instruments require some roughening up of the skin to build calluses.
