The Superior Drummer 3 manual states how to import a tempo map saved as a midi file, but I’m unable to discover the answer to how to export one in Pro Tools. I have some tricky tempo maps in sessions also using s curves, and it’s critical for me to be able to do it this way. Any answers?
Actually I just discovered the solution. I’ll copy what to do below for future reference.
Create a midi track
With the new midi track selected, hit File > Export Midi
In The Following Dialog set the following:
* Midi File Format: “0” (Unless you’d like to include ALL the session’s midi tracks, in which case choose “1”)
* Location reference: “session start”
* Select: “apply real time properties”
Sorry for my English.
I have a problem with ez drummer 3. I have imported a Logic midi file to the editor of the program and I see that it recognizes the time changes that the song has, but when I export the track to audio it does not recognize the time changes. I have enabled the loop box and I have also tried disabling it and it does not work. Many thanks

Thanks for this info. When I set the format to “0” and then import it into Sonar for example, no track appears. If I set it to 1, the midi track I created appears, but no tempo information comes across. I’m trying to find a way to copy tempo info from PT to Sonar and there doesn’t seem to be an easy answer.
