Export Midi from Ezdrummer 2

Hello. I am looking into purchasing Ezdrummer 2. I use a Beatbuddy for drums and I am looking for a better way to create Midi drum parts to use with my Beatbuddy. Once you create a drum part in Ezdrummer 2 is there a way to export that part as a midi file? I will be creating parts like verse, chorus, fills, transitions and endings as individual parts. Also I have Sonar Platinum and Studio One. Thanks!

Certainly. In the Song Track Menu, simply select export midi. Or you can literally drag your midi out of EZD2 and onto your HD.

2 Questions

 

1/. How do I export into PT?

2/. Can I do everything record guitar and bass into Ezydrummer 3 and scrap or cancel pro tools?

1. Just drag the midi from EZD2 into Pro Tools is the easiest way.
2. No.

If you’re looking to ditch Pro Tools there are less expensive or free DAWs.
