Just a quick demo I did using the Evil Drums, Axe Fx Standard (UK GC 30), and an ESP Eclipse ii with seymour duncan pickups. The China cymbal is from the Avatar kit. Any kind of feedback/criticism/hate mail is appreciated 🙂 http://soundcloud.com/sic-em-anshu/test-6
Hey, bud.
Welcome to the forums.
I had a couple of small “opinions” with regard to your tune.
But before I say anything – thank you for sharing this with us.
It’s always cool to see and hear new comers to the forum.
I’m excited to see and hear what you have up your sleeve in the future.
First question I had is about a click track.
Although the tune sounds cool, it sounds like it could be a little tighter, to my ears.
Second question would be regarding the levels.
It sounds like the drums might be a little louder than the guitars.
If I am out of line, or way off base – then my apologies.
But I can tell you have some good ideas, and I look forward to hearing more.
Thanks again for sharing, and take care
Scott

Thanks Scott for listening! I appreciate the advice too! The guitars are definitely too quiet (the whole mix might be quiet in general or maybe it’s just the guitars). I generally struggle with getting mixes to sound loud (and good at the same time). All the drums are written in and are locked on the grid, so it’s probably my guitar playing that’s a little off. Thanks again, I’ll be putting up more demos of superior stuff because the possibilities are endless (especially when you have an expansion pack to mix and match with).
