Electronic Drum Pads / How many?

Hello,

Was hoping someone could tell me how many electronic pads I can use with superior drummer 2.0? Specs show there are 16 stereo outputs. I assume that means I can map up to 16 pads. Just trying to understand this before I buy. I use 15 Yamaha electronic pads now on a DTXtreme III SP kit. I don’t want to have to compromise my setup and lose any pads when using this program. Thanks in advance for the help!

The stereo outputs have nothing to do with the number of pads. Midi pads are like midi notes on a keyboard.Each pad would respond to a different midi note. Some pads output more than one midi note. There are 128 notes available on each midi channel.
You don’t need to worry about having too many pads.
