Hi guys, new to all this so be gentle with me! Problem is, I have just bought and installed (e version) of Ezdrummer and all is eventually working fine through Toontrack solo as recommended. However, I cannot get my Roland HD-1 edrums to trigger the software. As afr as I am aware, I am doing evrything as advised,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,any ideas?
Many thanks,
PTS
You have to run an installer for the HD1 on your computer for usb?
assuming this , in Solo you would need to go to Options> Midi Devices and TICK UM-One or whatever you are using to get the HD1 to talk to your computer.
That should really be all you need to do.
Thanks for the quick reply – in solo under midi devices there’s just USB2 MIDI. I have ticked the Edrum option too, I can see that the midi signal is leaving the kit as the light on the lead responds to hits on the pads. It just doesn’t seem to be getting to the software,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,?
Could be an issue with the USB MIDI driver or as simple as a MIDI channel mismatch.
What MIDI channel is your drum brain sending out on, PTS?
