Using SD3, with a loop from a SD2 EZX. I want to alter an 8-bar loop to 9 bars, by copying 1 bar from within the middle of the loop, and adding it before the last bar that contains a fill at the end.
How can I do this?
Use the Cut Tool to cut at the beginning and end of the 1 measure you want to copy. Put another cut where you want to insert the fill. Slide the measure at the end of that cut out of the way. Then Copy the fill measure. Then Paste it where you want it. Slide the other measure back in place.

Tried that. Was able to isolate the bar I want to copy, and establish point at which i want to copy the bar to, but don’t seem to be able to copy and paste it. Figured it should work like every other copy/paste move, not pasting.
Any other ideas? I’m sure it’s simple and I am juts missing something. Thanks.
Are you in a DAW or Standalone? In a DAW Right/click on the groove section and select copy or paste from the menu. If standalone, the regular shortcuts apply Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V.
