Hello.
When moving information, e.g. 4 bars of ride cymbal to another location in a song all the other drums/cymbals are deleted when the 4 bars of ride are pasted in. This also occurs with single beats. If a single bass drum beat copied then pasted under a snare and high hat, it results in both the snare and high hat being deleted. Any ideas why?
Thanks,
Nigel.
If you right click on the block where you want to add the ride, and chose Paste/Ride – then the ride should be added. If you are using the song track menu (on the top right side of the song track), then the ride will be pasted and other instruments will be removed. This feature was implemented to give the user a choice on how to paste it, but it’s a problem that it’s not clear to the user that this is the case. We will look into this for coming updates!

Hello Henrick. If I copy the ride and move to the area where I want to paste it and right click I find paste appears, not paste/ride and if I use left or right click the ride is pasted but still with the loss of the rest of the drums in that section. Am I doing it wrong?
Thanks,
Nigel.
Where do you copy the ride and where do you try to paste it? Is it all done on the song track of EZdrummer 2? If so, make sure you are using the latest version of EZdrummer 2 (in the main menu there’s an entry called “Check for Updates…”).
