I may be in the wrong place for this but….
I’m new to the world of Ezdrummer but I noticed that if I change the drum kit in Ezdrummer 2 say from standard to Vintage Dirty Rock and move that file to Logic Pro X, the new drum kit sound doesn’t come over to logic. Any idea of what I may be missing here?
    Thanks

I don’t follow you here… Do you set up your drumkit by using the standalone EZdrummer 2 (just starting it by itself) and wanting to use that setup in a Logic? In that case – save it as a project in the standalone and open that project in EZdrummer 2 in Logic.
You can also save it as a Preset (in the menu where you select libraries/preset) – that will save the drumkit and the Mixer. A project will save that, and the song track and other settings too…

Thanks for responding. Yes I use it in stand alone mode. I save it as a project and open in Logic and it doesn’t bring in the drum kit that the project uses. But it seems as though it does work as expected when using it in logic. I guess I need to get used to not using it as a standalone.
    Thanks!

    Hi,

are you opening the Project file you saved in the Standalone in the plugin inside Logic and don’t get the same library, kit, mixer settings, MIDI on the Song Track, etc?
Do you get any error message? Does anything come over from the Project?
Which version number is displayed in the plugin interface?

    BR,
    John

Open an instance of ESX24 and click the ‘Edit’ button next to the patch names. Then – drag and drop your samples onto the keys. You can highlight multiple samples and drag them at once to map them across several keys. Make sure you tick ‘one shot’ unless you want your sample to cut off when you release the key!
