Question, I have been using the Dream Pop “Dirt” kit in Logic Pro for a few of my recent sessions and for some reason there is a hissing on the Toms channel. I have my toms set to the “Reggae Tom 1-3” but even if I change that preset the hissing is still on the channel. Not sure if I am routing something wrong but possibly.
I have changed the output on the EZdrummer mixer inside the plugin from Stereo to Multichannel and have routed each drum to go to a different fader in Logic. But this hissing is only occurring on the Toms channel and when I mute the Toms channel in the EZ drummer mixer or on its channel in Logic it stops. I have no plugins or tape sim being routed to the Toms channel in Logic and no FX on the channel itself. Seems like its something with routing behind the scenes in EZdrummer that I cannot control because the Toms channel in the EZdrummer mixer has a visible noise floor audio signal coming through but I don’t see that on my Toms channel in Logic.
I’m using Dream Pop in Superior Drummer and the Toms channel has an insert effect that is creating the hissing noise, which I can just switch off. Not sure if that’s an option in EZ Drummer.
Hi,
that is correct, the ‘Bad Tube/Distorsion’ Insert on the Toms channel in the ‘Dirt’ Preset cannot be switched off in EZdrummer 2, as it can be in Superior Drummer 3.
