Dragging MIDI from Logic Pro on to MIDI Drop Zone in SD3

Hello,

I am having trouble dragging and dropping MIDI files from Logic Pro on to the MIDI Drop Zone in SD3. Please advise.

I do not think Logic allows dragging files from DAW to a plug in.

Thank you for the quick response. I’ve figured out I can just import into Track then drag the file to the MIDI Drop Zone. Best regards, Tim T.

As Scott said, Logic does not support drag and drop outside of its own app space. One workaround is as above, by exporting the MIDI. The other is to place the MIDI on SD3’s instrument track and hit the record button on SD3 while playing the track.
