S3 ships with a MIDI library:

    FEATURE SPOTLIGHT

-Drum grooves and fills inspired by a broad range of styles

-More than 1,600 individually played files

    -4/4, 3/4, 6/8, 12/8, 2/4 in straight and swing feel

-Tempos ranging from 55 to 204 BPM

-Song structure categorization (intro, verse, chorus, bridge, fills, etc.)

You can then add any genre specific Toontrack MIDI packs if you need more variety.

    Thank you Scott.

    One more question here,

the bundles on the SDX like new york kits are the midi pack only or coming with the Superior Drummer 3 already.

BTW, any discount coupon for the SD III are available?  Since a couple days ago, as soon as purchasing EZ Keys and EZ basses,  there are better rates for them on your events.

The SDX Bundles are sound expansion packs (sound libraries and MIDI). They do not include S3.

I’m not aware of the sales on specific products until they are released.

    HELLO,

I just downloaded SD3 and installed on to an SSD. I seem to have gotten everything working fine, I have the full sound library right now from what I can tell. However, the Grooves tab says I have no midi library installed. Is the default midi library somewhere in the product manager? Or is it in one of the five expansion libraries I downloaded?

    Thanks,
    Colin

It should be under the Updates section of the S3 Sound Library Part 1.
