I have no use for the song writing aid nor the drag-drop midi parts of the EZ keys and don’t care for it. I see these pre-invented conceptions as unecessary for the creation of my works. However, I was just wondering can I just use the EZ keys as a piano instrument that I can play off my midi controller? Because I find the sounds very good for the fact that this is just a sampler piano. How does it react to velocity and how well would it feel if I use my weighted mpk88? Does it just allow standard playing like a virtual instrument would? (like let’s say the alkicia keys piano from Native instruments?)
Yes, you can use EZKeys as a standard virtual like other piano virtual instruments in your host with a MIDI controller.
