Does Bandmate match to preexisting grooves or generate completely new ones?

Does EZ Keys 2 Bandmate match analyzed audio to preexisting piano midi grooves in its library and simply adjust them to fit the chords and tempo, or does it generate completely new piano midi grooves?

It would be nice if it were capable of generating grooves similar to a given groove, but different in an intelligent way, using ML for realistically humanized timing. Maybe even sliders to match different emotions.

Hi,

Bandmate is using the MIDI in your Toontrack Library and User MIDI as a base, which may be automatically modified rhythmically to match your source and then further tweaked before placing the MIDI on your Song Track, where you can use the other EZkeys 2 tools.
