Well, that depends on how you use EZplayer Pro. There’s one thing that EZdrummer 2 doesn’t do and that is the MIDI mapping transform from 3rd party MIDI libraries. And there is only one track in EZdrummer 2 Other than that I think EZdrummer 2 should work as a perfect substitute.

    Hi Erik,

I’m getting ready to install the EZD2 upgrade and I also have S2 installed.

I do not think I will have any need for EZplayer Pro, so I’m not sure if I should uninstall it.

Do you know if there is going to be some type of update for it, or is it going to be phased out?

Also, if I uninstall the program, does the MIDI library get uninstalled as well?

If not, how do I properly delete the MIDI library?

I imagine after S3 comes out, there won’t be a need for that app as well.

Many thanks and sorry for hijacking’ the Thread! Wink

No need to uninstall EZplayer Pro. You never know, you might need it at some point and it doesn’t take much space. Besides, the MIDI that it contains might be useful!. I don’t think that the download for Solo is up on our new website yet. It will be within short though.

    Ok… Sounds like good advice!

Any idea when Solo might be available on the site (ballpark)?

    Is it being updated?

    Thanks again!
