Do new EZD2 features work when using older EZX expansions?

I see that some of the newer EZX expansions require EZdrummer 2, while some of the older ones will work with EZdrummer 1.4 and above.

My question is: Do the cool new features in EZD2 work with those older expansion packs? For example, can I move the Power Hand around to different instruments when using the Nashville EZX?

Yes,

all EZX:s have been updated to work with EZdrummer 2.
That particular feature is part of the Ezdrummer 2 engine and not tied to the EZX:s.
