Hi there,
Am I missing something here? I am puzzled by the lack of any MIDI assign/learn feature with this product. At the very least, Toontrack should have provided a window or piano GUI displaying which specific hit is being triggered (as in Kontakt, Abbey Road, Addictive Drums, BFD2, etc.).
Don’t get me wrong: EZDrummer sounds and plays great. Registering the software couldn’t have been easier, but assigning specific voices is a problem for those of us who do not use a keyboard to play our drum tracks. Additionally, anyone familiar with the dk10 knows that to assign voices we have to scroll through each sound using a note switch pedal.
Thanks in advance for your time and consideration. Any suggestions for a workaround, etc. would be most welcome.
Cheers.

Superior Drummer 2 was designed with the e-drummer in mind. It has MIDI learn as well as other edrums specific features. EZdrummer, on the other hand, was more aimed at producers and musicians that need quick sounds for song writing and productions.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for your reply. I understand that the flagship vst is more feature packed (and also more expensive), but TT might want to re-think this approach for a future update or release. Because not having this crucial feature doesn’t really make things “EZ” for the end user. 😉
