Hi Guys,
Triple thumbs up for the software, absolutely awesome.
I have been adding so many midi packs and sdx expansion packs I am now getting alerts from the OS that I am running out of disk space.
I have the external SSD that was part of the purchase for Superior Drummer 3, which has a good deal of pre installed goodies, yay.
the quesiton now have is, can I select this SSD as the install location for any new midi and sdx expansion packs?
I tried to save to my external HHD (not the Toontracks supplied SSD) but was advised that this is not possible.
Help, please I am addicted to this software, and its capabilities 🙂
Kind regards,
Jag
Hi,
SDX library expansions can be moved to any location and pointed to in the SD3 plugin (Settings > Libraries), so that is no problem.
The repository for Toontrack MIDI and EZX expansions is another matter, since it needs to be picked up by any Toontrack drum sample player on a system.
Since you do not have any other Toontrack drum sample player than SD3, you should be able to edit the path under Settings > Libraries and scroll down to ‘Additional Libraries’.
You probably will need to uninstall and reinstall your MIDI packs.
BR,
John
