Different MIDI channels for Macros and Drums?

Is there a way to get the Macro Controls to listen on a different MIDI channel than the drum inputs? I have a control surface that, for example, has CC4 mapped to one of its sliders, which obviously affects the hihat pedal. I can edit the control surface to send a different CC, but for multiple banks that gets tiresome really quick. By default SD listens on all channels, so ...
