Hey guys, just wondering what the difference is b/w using EZmix & using presets on my Pro Tools plug-ins?
Thanks,
David
Kind of a wide ranging question there.
A bit like asking what’s the difference driving a Ford and a Toyota.
They do similar things but in a different way.
Without knowing what PT plug-ins you are talking about, I can only say EZ-Mix is designed to be easy (EZ).
Generally lots of different fx are chained together, but you get limited options to change the parameters.
It often sounds very good, it’s cheap, it’s super easy to use, but less tweakable than a standard plug-in.
I’m guessing a lot of people use both approaches together, EZ Mix and standard plug-ins.
