Hello there,
My band mates and I have been collaborating on music separately on our respective computers. My drummer has been using Superior Drummer, loading the Drumkit From Hell in Logic on his Mac, while in the master sessions for the songs on my PC, I am using EZdrummer DKFH in Cubase.
The problem is this, when he exports his MIDI, and I import it into Cubase EZDrummer DKFH, most of the samples are consistent, but some are not. For example, certain cymbal hits that usually resonate have become cymbal grabs (or a crash becomes a splash), certain tom hits that were not a flam have become them, etc.
Shouldn’t using DrumKit from Hell in Superior Drummer and exporting midi translate into the same kit on EZdrummer with all the same samples? Is there something we can do to ensure consistency?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Cutch
