Hi
We downloaded the demo version and like the idea very much but are confused by the small amount of examples?
are there more in the final product?
does the actual product come with the licks as portrayed in the online demos like boogie jam, She creathes life, Natural, Old Mexico and Pop etc?
Also the demos for the midi pack seem to suggest there are just 2 additional song variations?
Confused, can you please clarify
Thanks
The demo has the same content as the Purchase Product.
Boogie Jam from the Boogie Slow song has most the righthand Licks .
mmm, thanks for the minimalistic reply in a pre-sales forum?!
In my opinion it seems VERY light on material, whilst i appreciate the product is unique it needs a little more substance before I consider purchase or at least more midipacks with either more content or a smaller price tag, the 25euros for pop/rock seems outlandishly expensive compared to what you get in any of the drum midi packs you offer which are filled with amazing content
I’ll wait and see if the product actually has growth before i consider purchase
Hi,
In the demo the content is not an example, the supplied songs are the base content, for clarification.
It isn’t my job to answer these posts ,nor sell but i felt i could answer part of your question minus subjective bias plus i was online at the time.
In fact i have been very vocal about this product on the next level of the forum.
I could say a lot more to you about it and your post but hey…………….
The Lads from tech may answer your question in time and more detail.
I’m not sure what more I can add to what juicy has posted.
The MIDI content in the demo is the same as the full product.
The audio demos are based on the MIDI included with the product.

Ok thanks Juicy, assumed you were a toontrack respondee
Thanks for your input and appreciate it
Scott, been through the demo again and don’t hear anything like the Pop example?
Am i missing something?
Seems that there is much to say about this product but not much satisfaction and the lack of proper responses generally to this product fills me with a white elephant feeling
I’ll give it a miss i think
Keep up the awesome Superior work!
Infuzed, you were obviously a bit harsh with Juicy, now I think you are being a bit harsh on EZkeys. A ‘white elephant’? It’s a brand new product, only been in existence for a few weeks. Expect more content and expansions to follow.
If you don’t think the initial release has enough in it however, that’s an ok opinion to have.
Regarding discussion on EZkeys, it has been extensive.
Have you tried the forum search function?
There is much discussion in the ‘other pre-sales’ and ‘feedback and requests’ forums.
Plus there are two dedicated EZkeys forums which you possibly can’t see until you buy and register the product.
Hi Whitten, reading more across the forum (which i had done to a degree before) it is plain that others share my opinion and whilst white elephant may seem strong to you that is also my opinion:
“A white elephant is an idiom for a valuable but burdensome possession of which its owner cannot dispose and whose cost (particularly cost of upkeep) is out of proportion to its usefulness or worth. “
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_elephant
Seems apt to me at this point if the cost of the ‘extensive’ included and packs of midi are anything to go by
Just my opinion, agreed that it is a unique product though, shame its demos highlight things that are not included in the pack giving a false representation and that the midi packs are VERY expensive for ‘extensive’ content…
I assume that this is the first of many models on pianos and then basses, guitars etc which would be good if they were of the same depth of support material as the superior product and midi drum packs, which at present they simply are not.
You are claiming a fact which has apparently been refuted:
ORIGINAL: Scott
The MIDI content in the demo is the same as the full product.
The audio demos are based on the MIDI included with the product.
When I mean ‘based on’ I don’t want it to be misunderstood as meaning ‘taken directly from’. No, some of the audio demos aren’t taken directly from the MIDI content shipped with EZkeys. Using the EZkeys demo should be able to show what MIDI is included and how, using the supplied tools, the MIDI can be manipulated into creating your own songs.
In regards to content amount. I’ve given my thoughts on various other threads regarding this but I’ll share them here as well (copied from another post):
I don’t think you can fairly compare drum MIDI and melodic piano MIDI. EZkeys MIDI is 8 measures long. EZdrummer MIDI is mostly 1 bar. I guess you could use the scissor tool and chop up the 8 bar EZkeys MIDI into 8, one measure phrases if the ‘number’ of MIDI patterns is important to you.
Also, as a songwriter, I don’t want 25 1 or 2 bar piano riffs that I stick together. If I’m using the MIDI from EZkeys I appreciate the longer phrases as they sound more realistic. Personally, I’m using the MIDI to create my own patterns. I’m using the Basic Chord section and then chopping up the longer MIDI as well. I’m using the Chord Selector wheel to change the MIDI to make new sounds and patterns. Then I’m saving them to Favorites folders.
I’m not going to change your mind about wanting more MIDI (it’s like debating religion and politics ) but I want to point out that there is plenty of content to be had and manipulated using the included MIDI and the tools in EZkeys.
