One of my tom triggers, a Ddrum Pro Tom Trigger, stopped working. My TriggerIO only picks up the shot when I tap right on to the piezo of the dismounted trigger – so its sensitivity has really deteriorated.
The piezo on the trigger sticks to a 1cm square foam pad, and the piezo itself is not the familiar DIY round speaker kind, but a really tiny one: about 1 centimeter long and 1 or 2 millimeters in width.
Can I get a replacement somewhere? Or can I just stick on a big round piezo? Seems like the latter would be over-sensitive…
