I sat down today with no intention of writing something, but i kinda did i guess haha! This is definitely a work in progress, but not bad for an hour or so. Drums are all Avatar library. This kick is replaced a bit by a sample. Guitars are a Soldono model in my Axe Fx using Recabinet 2.0’s 1960 cab with an SM57 6L6 cap grill. Bass is one track with my Spector and my Axe Fx. Ampeg model.
Hope you all enjoy!!! The song is called Tweedly D

I tamed the low end freqs a bit and added a tiny bit of compression and Vintage Warmer. Hope you guys like the newer mix!!!!

Good job, has a slightly Helmet feel to the riffing. Very clean and crisp – if I was being critical I’d maybe say it was slightly too synthetic sounding, and maybe the kick is a bit too loud. But nice work anyway.

Ello Cory,
Another lovely mix, gotta agree to a certain extent, it feels like the guitars are lacking just a bit of punch from the low end, and the bass isn’t filling in the gap, but all good stuff as always man!
But it IS great, i’ll let you have a critical bash at our next production hehehe
Kind regards
D.

Very good stuff. I really like where this tune is.
I really like the melody, and the laid-back feel to it.
The mix is really good as well – a little loud for my monitors,
but that is how most things are these days!
Thanks for sharing with us
Take care
Scott

Thanks Scott!
I have another tune that is coming along nicely. Its more of a experimental, progressive, laid back, non-rock/metal tune that is going to be on my D20 album. As soon as i get it finished i’ll post it.
Thanks again everyone for the comments!!!!
