Hi,
there is no built-in Crescendo or Cymbal Wash function in Superior 2 but e.g. the Custom & Vintage SDX has pre-recorded ones.
EZdrummer 2 has got a lot of MIDI Cymbals swells. Some MIDI controllers, like e.g. the KORG padKONTROL, have a function for creating rolls via an X/Y pad.

John do you know if there are plans to ever include such a function in SD? I had to do one for a song and would up micing a Cymbal and recording the swell.

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but it was the most recent one that came up in search.
What is the best way to search for cymbal rolls in EZD2 please?
Thanks!

choose <Cymbal Swells> under ‘Play Style’ on the [Search] tab
.
The cymbals are shaken against each other, producing an effect reminiscent of a roll. This effect can only be performed mezzoforte or more quietly. Another method is to repeatedly crash the plates very quickly, separating them only very briefly.
