just an idea, how about a excessive cymbal library,
such as huge Rides used as crashes, bow played cymbals, cymbals played with sticks “inverted” e.t.c.
closed hat “pitching up” when pressed hard (the pedal) all n all articulations beyond the possibilities of a e drum…
i find myself (although having a triggerdum for basic “real grooves” and happy with it) spending a lot of time randomising/humanising soundwise drumtracks
(such as using several ride bells (x rides) to make `em sound more natural in long ride parts) or hats not being “noizie” enough….there are so many things one could do…
again just an idea…..
ps i dont mind using a second instance of drummer just for this purpose
and a request in general: mixer fader control with automation curves
cheers
