You can see my system specs below.
I own SD 2.2.3 C&V SDX and several other SDX kits.
While having the Noble n Cooley Star Series kit loaded. Tom 1 and Tom 2 have an airy, fizzy, swoosh sound.
The rest of that kit sounds ok.
Tom 1 and Tom 2 in relation to Tom 3, the Floor Tom and Bass Drum sound totally different and do not match the rest of the Noble n Cooley kit.
This is while using SD in Pro Tools 9 with any Buffer size and or Sample Rate.
So this is not a related DAW problem.
The Samples for that particular kit and those particular toms are the problem.
Here are audio samples of of Tom 1 and Tom 2 from the kit in question.

Hi,
you are talking about the natural resonance of the Snare wires when you hit those two Toms. Check for yourself by turning ‘Bottom wire snares’ off in the Tools menu.
I.e. absolutely nothing wrong.
Best Regards,
John

Ok, thank you.
Turning off the “Bottom Wire Snares” did clean up the toms.
In that particular kit after turning off the “Bottom Wire Snares” the snare shows “Not Loaded”.
No snares will load with “BWS”.
Is this normal for this kit?
Thank you.
Philip
