Brilliant, brilliant sound. That is by far the tightest recording I’ve checked out in the ‘User Demos’ (but this sounds totally pro to me, nothing ‘demo’ about it). Stunning playing btw, the guitars and bass sound really nice. And of course the drums sound KILLER! C&V is my favorite library of the bunch, but I’ve only been using it in really mellow tracks so it’s great to hear it working well in something rockier. Did you use one of the mixer presets for the drums or mix them yourself?

Also, do you have a website where I can check out more of your tunes?

    Cheers,
    Jeremy.

For some reason – the player will come up – but no audio is played out of it.
I would like to try and listen again later today.

    Jeremy,
thanks a lot for your kind words. I´m happy that you liked the sound, and playing. Much appreciated!
Yep, C&V is my favorite TT library too. I´ve been using it for years, and for all kinds of music. I didn´t use any of the presets, but I used the SD2 fx when I was mixing.
Don´t have a website yet, but that´s on my to do list.

    All the best,
    Anders.

    Hey Scott,
Still having problem with the mp3?
I just tried playing the file and I had no problem. Weird?

Anyway, I did a new mix. The first sounded a bit thin.

For whatever reason – I am still having troubles listening to the tune.
Maybe I should try using FireFox instead of Safari ….
I’ll give that a shot in a bit.

    FireFox FTW

Don’t why know why I was having so many problems hearing these tunes with Safari – but it doesn’t matter now.

Once again – another really great sounding production.
Awesome playing, great tones on all fronts.

Still listening to this one … but I’m diggin it a lot.
    Thanks for sharing with us!

Care to share some of your production techniques with the class?
I always find these things interesting – especially when folks are able to achieve good tones like you have.

    Scott,
Thank you so much for all your feedback!
Production techniques??? Huh, I don´t know what to say about that. I´m still learning…still learning.
Seriously…I think its all about the arrangement/playing. If the music is well arranged, and not too many parts are playing at once in the same register. Then its much easier to mix.
I´m using ampsims (line6 & amplitube) for gtr and bass, and I try not to push then too hard. Just my two cents!

    Take care!

    Wiz,
For this tune I used mainly just SD2 midi files as a starting point. I got a good workflow with EZP Pro that came with SD2. Sometimes I use a padkontrol.

    All the best!
    Anders.
