Hello,
I’m new here, just joined today because I have a question about ezdrummer.
I want to be able to program my own tracks, not use the grooves as I will be making some covers etc. I also don’t want to record them via my midi controller live. I want to be able to track it somehow similar to guitar pro I guess? The piano roll maybe? Just looking for some advice from someone who knows a little bit more about the program.
Thanks,
Quigs
It’s nice to have a drum map when you’re programming the MIDI with the mouse. It let’s you see the drum names rather than a piano roll.
Other than that, if you’re familiar with programming MIDI already, just get started. If not, spend some time and learn how to program MIDI.
Not really many short cuts available. Just do it. Oh, yeah, cut and paste.

I think you’ll need to do this in your host program Quigs, it’s not something you do in SD2 itself.
What is your host? I know how to do this in REAPER (my host), but you could do with someone who uses the same DAW as yourself…
As Fizbin says, a piano roll with the drum map for the library you’re using is the way to do it. I have map files for REAPER’s MIDI editor if you want, but only helpful if you use REAPER…
