hello
i just installed superior drummer 2.0 on my desktop (win10) everything is working fine only i keep getting crackling in the sound when i play drums in my piano roll in fl studio 12.3. i got a proper audio interface (focusrite 18i8) and think i got the fl studio setting right sins i never have any problems with full projects.
i tried all the audio options in fl studio but nothing seems to help.
the problem im having is that the crackling sounds a bit like a delay and it changes a bit when setting the asio buffer size but i never disappears.
so basicly i hope somebody can help me with this cos it driving me nuts 😛
ok sorry for this but for all ppl with the same problem i fixed it by using Fl Studio Asio in the main audio settings!
It only has a little bit to do with the ASIO driver.. I just tried and changed it.. well doesn’t matter which driver I choose… crackling is still there it just changes a little bit…
However the real problem and the solution for it… is the buffer handling…
For superior drummer you need to go into your wrapper settings.. and then change it to fixed buffer size… then it’s clean without crackling.
I am very glad that that fixes it… I just bought SD2 and installed it.. hit on the tom.. crackle… omg. … then I thought well sounds like a buffer issue… changed it to use fixed buffersize.. and it works how it should
Where would I find the buffer in SD3? I have the buffer at 1024 in my DAW (PT11).
