I’ve been able to play a bit of my EZD/EZX/S2 (all latest) since I ported everything over from a PC to Mac. When I fire this up in Solo, it works for a bit then Solo completely shuts down. When it works, it works as expected.
I’m running 4G on a Mac mini. Aside from a little Internet surfing on this machine, it is clean as a whistle and only used for my music stuff. I believe I set the buffer on 128 in all and when it works, it has minimal latency. I’ve set Solo for e-drums and CC offset.
I am running my Uno cable into hub before it goes into the Mac. Not sure if this might be an issue since it works fine for a bit then fails.
What might be causing this?
I have been using almost exactly the same set up for a 2 hours gig yesterday without problem. Is this with solo 1.2? can you send a sample crash log to supporttoontrack•com next time it happens.

Hi – thanks for that but we really need the full crash log. You can find it in /Users//Library/CrashReporter/
… just the most 2 or 3 recent ones will do.
As you can see however the fault seems to be with the UNO failing to respond. While this should (ideally) not crash solo, I would definitely look into the M-Audio driver direction, although I know for a fact that that the last version is a couple of years old.

… it could also of course be a dodgy cable however so I’d inspect it thoroughly for any damage.
