I’d like to combine the best of both worlds with MF and DfH.
When opening a DfH instrument as an xinstrument in MF, the production values are totally different. I want them to sound like they do in DfH. Same goes when adding an MF xinstrument to DfH.
I love the ride cymbal in DfH. When I make it an xinstrument for use in MF, it rings way too much. In DfH it’s a clean. quick ping.
Snare in DfH is crisp and thwacky. As an xinstrument in MF, it’s like a cellophane bag.
So, if I could figure out how to make a perfect combination, it would be DfH snare, ride, hihat (with the sounds as-is when opened up in SD), but with toms, crashes, and chinas from MF using the Frederik Thiordendal Metall or Bleed preset, with some snare buzz added to the toms. The DfH bass drum as an xinstrument would probably be my bass drum. It has some snare buzz that I like.
Please…I would give someone a pizza if they could help me figure this out
