Hi,
Houston we’ve got a problem here i.e. I am previewing a clip within the browser of easy player within Logic 9, and choose the ones who fit within my song. Then I drag them to the arrange area of EZplayer on different tracks, for further progress.
Then when I hit play on Logic (while Logic & EZlayer are linked) the clips which I have dragged into the arrange area of EzPlayer have changed. I mean some snare and kick hits miss?
Why is that?

Hi John,
I am so mixed up. Yes it is 1.0.4 now. I swear to God I did exactly the same thing last night. I don’t know may be shutting down the computer helped or shutting down me myself. Now I am back on the road again.
Peace.
PS.:Let me know when you have fixed version 1.0.7, because I’d like to switch to the 64 bit area.;)

OK, we are having a hard time reproducing any error to be honest. We had to source the relevant 3rd party files to be sure but it seems to behave as expected once that was done.
Just to clarify though:
1) opening the Logic project you sent us after installing 1.0.4 (sorry about getting the version wrong) you no longer have any problem?
2) in the Arrange part of EZdrummer, when you had 1.0.7 installed you could see all the clips you expected to see but some did not playback as expected?
… feel free to summarize anything you deem relevant to the issue again, we are a bit confused about what we are looking for specifically.

Dear Rogue,
Firstly, yes. After installing version 1.0.4 of EZPlayer Pro, I opened the same project, and the clips were just the ones I had dragged and dropped. No missing hits no strange behavior. With version 1.0.4, I have no problem.
Secondly, exactly as you say. I could see the clips and also locate them by Shift clicking. But while playback some hits were missing (some hihats and some kicks).
Best Regards.

Hi Rogue,
I remembered that once I switched the project (the one which causes to start this topic) from 32 bit to 64 bit and vice versa, but as said only once, just to give it a try. May be this is what caused the trouble.
So, for a couple of hours I am working again in 64 bit mode, in a fresh project. When using the 32 bit audio unit bridge for Ezplayer Pro (1.0.4) I had some crashes. So I decided to try again both Superior Drummer and Ezplayer Pro (1.0.7) in 64 bit mode.
Well for now everything seems o.k.
I just wanted to let you know.
Best Regards.

Hi Rogue,
I sometimes still have this issue, not the same but unstable behavior of EzPlayer. Let me tell you what had happened recently:
1. A new fresh project., sample rate 48khz, Logic 9 (9.1.3) 64 bit, tempo 110.
2. Four audio tracks (guitars) recorded.
3. Then EzPlayer and EzDrummer connected via environment.
4. And within EzPlayer, I arranged some drum tracks that have two to three layers.
5. Saved and closed the project. Everything is perfect by now.
6. Next day opened the project for further process but the midi files in the track’s layers were gone.
Seems a bit different from my first problem which perhaps emerged switching from 64 bit to 32 bit and so forth. But this one no switching stable and routine workflow.
Peace.

Hi
Why is nobody answering?

I am posting messages and asking for help in this topic every once in a week. Why do I get no answer? I am wondering why this happens?
Peace.

… because we are/were busy with other matters, and sadly no one available could answer your question earlier. I can sympatize with your problems but I need to remind you that EZplayer 1.0.7 is a preliminary 64-bit version. Please review this board for the full disclaimer: http://toontrack.com/forum/tt.aspx?forumid=96
Anyway, we are very close to release an update to EZplayer and I believe your issue, at least the most recently reported one will be resolved. I believe your initial problem is a related issue that for some reason does not translate to our systems. Actually I have an inkling that it is a totally different issue that is also solved.
If you wish to test out a preliminary version, please contact me by email at roguetoontrack•com and we will try to help, but I have to renew the disclaimer posted on the Mac 64-bit board, or rather rephrase it to reflect your situation:
Right now it is very likely that the next EZplayer version will be the official 64-bit Mac version, but a pre-release would come with no more guarantee than is stated in the above forum post, not least because there are a large number of bug fixes still being checked. So if that’s not agreeable then I can only recommend you use a pre-1.0.7 version in Logic in 32-bit or wait for 1.0.8 if you must run Logic n 64-bit, however long it might be for it to be released (estimate is 2-3 weeks maximum but that is an ETA).

I am having a similar with EZP and TT Solo.
Since the most recent update to EZP I have had some projects where the MIDI clips in EZP are retained and some where I get an error message,’Files could not be found or read’.
I wasn’t sure if maybe I had done something with the files by mistake (which is still a possibility) or an error occurred when updateing.
I’ll see after the next update.

Thank you for replying Rogue. I can understand you. Sometimes life gets too busy.

from the support portal post (sticky at the top of this board):
– kit pieces dragged on Arranger tracks are not recalled properly from projects saved with this version
… so yes, it’s likely the problem you are experiencing is known and resolved (or will be once the update is released) if the components involved are part-groove rather than full-kit patterns.
But of course, removing mount points or breaking their linkage would yield the same problem, so verify if that may be the case by checking all your mount points and ensuring all the MIDI packs that you own are installed.

I know on at least one project I closed out S2 & EZP (in TTS) and then hit save before I relized what I did.So that’s on me.
Fotunately,I name my projects the same as my S2 presets AND I save any preset changes before I close out, always.
On another,I re-inserted the grooves I was using and it retained them.So once the new updates come out I will be better able to determine whether it was me or TTS.
