Hi,
I am considering buying EZkeys but I’d like to know the following thing.
For example, I have midi file with a chords progression, which I created by hand in a DAW (by “drawing” the singles notes). It sounds very mechanic, since it has not been played actually. Is it possible to import that file to EZkeys and use the presets to “re-arrange” that chords progression?
In other words: can a chords progression be imported from a MIDI file?
Thanks.
Yes. The import MIDI function in the latest EZkeys analyses the MIDI and provides humanizing functions (humanizing can be turned off in the Import window). This provides more of a human feel from static MIDI.
In addition, Import MIDI will analyse the chord progression to allow for adjustments of the chords using all the functionality that the Chord Wheel provides.
