Hi
I’ve registered here specifically to ask this question.
I’m extremely interested in buying EZdrummer and the Jazz Expansion pack. A genuine seller here in the UK had a promotion for both which ended a few months ago (cursing my luck), so I had a quick scan around the web in case anyone else was doing the same.
I’ve happened upon a seller on eBay who is offering both the core package and the jazz expansion at very, very low prices, but they are download-only.
I am fiercely proud of never buying counterfeit software and normally only buy boxed products, but…y’know…technology and commerce marches onwards, so maybe I should be more trusting of electronic purchases. I do wonder though, if I should trust my instincts and the old adage of “if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is”.
Anyhow, could someone please confirm that I’ll be OK to buy from eBay seller ‘Audiodeluxe”‘, who claim to be “eBay’s #1 Toontrack Authorised Seller”? I’ve emailed them at some length and they tell me that “Once you buy from us we send all info with links and licenses to register“. I did ask if this was completely legit, enquiring as to what the score would be if I changed my PC or had a hard drive failure. Their answer was “You register direct on Toontrack.com. Once registered you log into your account and you can download it as much as you like.”
Please let me know if this is correct, that this eBay seller is kosher and that a) I’m not giving my money to some shyster and b) that I’ll be downloading genuine product.
Thanks in advance.
Actually, just bought the Metalheads EZX from them yesterday.
Opted for a boxed version, and have a tracking number already.
Communication has been good and I have no reason to not trust them thus far. Check all of their recent feedback (I did) — it’s pretty darn positive.
The current low prices in general seem to be a promotion going on for all of the EZXes among other things at multiple vendors. Take advantage of it!
And while I’m at it… also had a good eBay purchase from Ear2Track (nearly instant serial delivery there!).

audio-midi are selling EZX’s for $39.99 at the moment.
They are an established retailer and I’ve bought stuff from them in the past.
Bought EZX’s from Audio Deluxe via download myself. Fast communication and no probs authorising on my registered
Toontrack Page.
Only wish there was a sale on the crossgrade to SD2

I have had nothing but great purchasing experience from AudioDeluxe on e-bay. Very quick turnaround and some great deals, too!
