change tap tempo from pro tools hd on the fly??

Hello I’m aware of how to make tempo changes using tap tempo in pro tools but until I hit enter/return it doesn’t change tempo in ez drummer 2.

Is there a way to have this work as I’m playing a loop or song part? Thanks!!

Hi,

EZdrummer 2 responds to Tempo transmit from the host, so until you have committed Tempo in Pro Tools, EZdrummer 2 can’t respond to it.
You can preview grooves in EZdrummer 2 at their original Tempo if you have ‘Preview Original Tempo’ enabled.
