hi everyone. this is my first post. i have had superior drummer for a little over a year. i usually use a midi keyboard to record the drums live then midi map the fills and everything. i figured it would be much easier if i just bought an electronic drum kit and used the midi on that. so i purchased an osp dd-502 mk2 and bought a midi to usb cable to plug it into my computer. when in the sup drum. interface i select the e-drum options and nothing loads. do i need to get a new module or am i just doing something wrong?
Hi,
can’t say I have ever heard of that kit/module, so I can’t say if Toontrack supports it. I couldn’t find info if it’s GM compatible or not.
Anyways, do you have any means to try if your cabling is OK first? Connect as you did and record MIDI to some kind of host to see if anything’s registered?
When your write that ‘nothing loads’, do you mean that nothing triggers?

It won’t trigger. When I have the interface up and I get to the e-kit drop down menu my module name doesn’t show up but when I plug it in to the USB port it says USB device plugged in. So my computer recognizes it but not superior drummer
Clayton, I had the same problem with my Alesis DMX7 module, with USB interface never worked, but I changed to MIDI interface cable and solved it!!!…try it, good luck!!!
