Do you get an error when you open Product Manager? Can you post a screenshot of what happens when you open the Product Manager program?

Thanks for responding, Scott. I misread the license #. Finally, I discovered my mistake, got in and downloaded the program. During the installation, I received an error message 1311. There is where I am stuck now.

A 1311 error means you did not properly extract the .zip file that you downloaded.

However, if you downloaded and ran the Toontrack Product Manager, logged into your Toontrack account through it, and are installing your product through Product Manager, you shouldn’t be getting that error. It sounds like you downloading from the Toontrack website and not Product Manager.

That took care of that problem. Now trying to authorize the computer. Entered the Device ID into Computer – ID section, doesn’t work. I can’t believe that I’m having this much difficulty.

Entered the System Name into the Computer ID section. That is supposed to work, but it doesn’t. Any thoughts?

When following the steps in the above video tutorial on authorizing via the Toontrack Product Manager, how is it not working?

When I click on the Red Authorize button, I get a screen that asks for Computer – ID and Computer Description. The section for Computer – ID shows  XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-X. When I enter the System Name/Device Name (which should be the same the Computer – ID according to Windows 10), it responds with Invalid Computer ID. Contact support for help.

For device name, just pick something like Lamar’s computer or something else descriptive. The computer id shouldn’t go in the device name field.

    Computer-ID:
    Computer description:

This is how the error message appears. I tried entering Lamar Computer. It always comes back to this regardless of what I do. This is all the frustration I can handle for one evening. I’ll try again tomorrow. Thanks for your help, Scott.

One additional thing that I noticed is that I still can’t log into Product Manager. The error message says that the user name or password was not correct. However, I can log into the Toontrack site and the support forum without difficulty.
