Folks,
I bought some midi packs since they are on sale.I went to the ToonTrack Product manager and the new midi pack show up but they won’t download. Also, I have an update for Superior Drummer (3.2.8) which will also not download.
When the download begins, all the connections eventually timeout.
I have removed all the zero byte download links from the TT downloads folder and restarted the process many times. I also rebooted my computer multiple times, all to no avail.
I’m running on a relatively new Apple MBP with an M1 Pro processor with an up to date macOS Monterey.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Update: I was able to install the midi packs manually…downloaded them and put them in the TT download folder and start the Product Manager again.
I still can’t seem to the the Superior Drummer update (3.2.8) to get moving. Is there a way I can download this one directly?
Update 2: Okay I was able to install the Superior Drummer 3.2 8 update manually as well.
I’ve been using the TT Product Manager for a long time and never had any such issues. Is this all due to the fact (bug) that the Product manager is still an Intel binary and not a native Apple Silicon binary? I’ve used the Product Manager successfully on multiple Apple Silicon computers before without incident. Hmm…
Hi,
Do you have iCloud Private Relay on? If so, try turning it off.
