using Mac OSX ver 10.8.5
the latest ver of reaper (dont remember the no.)
ez drummer lite ver 1.3.1 (64 bit)
Presonus AudioBox-22VSL
am trying to eval ez drummer lite before i buy the the real thing- but some problems.
i can hear the drum voice and see input in the mixer jump whenever i strike the drum in ez drummer lite – but the sound is not recorded in the Reaper track. (i’m not using an ext keyboard but am just clicking on the snare with my mouse pointer. QUESTIONS:
1. since this is a vst plugin, i’m not sure what my input and output connections should be for Reaper and the Mac
2. on the Reaper track there is a button to set my input as mic or midi – not sure what to set here
3. there are config settings for both the Mac and Reaper which represent about 32 different combinations. i’ve tried all of these (i think) but still can’t get the drum hit to record on the reaper track
i am a newbie to the Mac (3 months) and to ez drummer (2 days) and don’t really know any of the bells/whistles on the forum post screen. i would like to include screen shots of my current config settings BUT do not know how to include them – i assume i would click “image” but don’t really know where to go from there. if i could get some help with this issue, i’d be happy to include screen shots.
really need some help here

No problem, I was completely lost when I started out. I have pretty much the same setup so this should be easy.
The get a better picture:
are you able to record any other instrument?
Is the track a virtual instrument track? Did it ask you to link itself for you? –Typically (in reaper )superior requires two tracks by default unless you fool with the bus sends.
