Can the MIDI Packs be used with other VSTi and Hardware?

Hi Peeps,

I normally create/program my own drums but I am interesting in your MIDI packs for inspiration purposes.

I do not own either EZ Drummer or Superior Drummer. I think I had a version of Superior Drummer with my SONAR Platinum license but I no longer have access to that.

My three weapons of choice are therefore NI Battery, Image-Line Drumaxx and my Alesis DM5 drum module.

So, the question is, are your MIDI packs .mid files that can be dragged into any DAW or do I also need EZ Drummer/Superior Drummer?

The Toontrack MIDI packs require EZD2 or S3 yes.
