Hi –
The only way I can see to make cymbals louder is to turn up the overheads and ambience, but of course that brings up the other drums too.
So what I’ve been doing lately is turn all the other drums down a few dB in the EZ mixer (kick, snare, Toms, but not cymbals), then turn up the *entire* kit in my DAW’s drum aux track so the other drums are back at their original loudness, but now the cymbals are louder.
Is there another, an easier way?

If you are using EZD2, then yes, you can control the volume of each kit piece (each cymbal included) from the kit piece dropdown menu.
