Can EZplayer slave to external midi clock?

Can EZplayer slave to external midi clock? What I would like to do is send midi clock from my hardware recorder so that the EZdrummer grooves tempo is set by my recorder.
I dont use a DAW and have no software sequencer. I do have EZ drummer and Solo, and I do have a VST VSTi host. I’m not bothered about editing grooves, just want to load grooves into a track that will slave to external sync. Do you think this would work?

No. We don’t have any products that utilize the MIDI clock messages.
Our plug-ins sync to the host.
