I just bought EZ Dummer,and Drums from hell.I understand all the drag and drop stuff.The problem is,our drummer left the band,and I want to build drum tracks to play to live.I don’t understand how to use individual sounds to do so.I’m working in protools 8.If anyone can help me,please send an email to *EMAIL ADDRESS REMOVED*.I’m lost on the best way to do this right now. Hi,
I recommend using some kind of MIDI controller to record your own drum tracks; MIDI keyboard, trigger pads like Trigger Finger or Korg padKONTROL, etc.
While it is possible to pencil in notes in Pro Tools, it is very time consuming if done from scratch.
Another possibility is to use the included grooves as starting points and edit them and add hits to make them fit your songs better.
One tip is to search YouTube for videos on the subject.
