I’ve been using SD2 for about a year. Love it. When I bounce down by tracks I always wanted to have each drum on it’s own track.(an I mostly still do) I recently started writing with some friends on the other side of the country. They just want me to send a track with ALL my drums on it. So my questions are…..
1. How do I bounce all tracks into one file? so I get one track with all my drums on it. This is just for quick scratch tracks.
2. I use Roots Sticks pretty much exclusively. There are 3 Mics for Kick and 3 mics for Snare. How can I bounce them down so Im only getting one Snare track that sounds like all 3 tracks are being used? Same with the Kick?
thanks, and sorry if this question doesn’t make total sense.
I EZdrummer2 you can export song as a wav file in the track options. Does that help?

Hi,
if you select to ‘Bounce Through Mixer’ on the Bounce page in Superior 2, you get a Stereo file per active plugin output. If you have built the Song using separate outputs from the plugin to your host/DAW, make sure you route all Mic Faders and/or Buses to e.g. Out 1+2. Then you have your Stereo file.
If you solo e.g. the Snare instrument on the Construct page and perform a Bounce according to the above instructions, you will get a stereo file with only the Snare, including all active microphones and bleeds.

that sounds like what I’m looking for. I need to understand routing to busses and outputs. I’m away for a few days but will figure it out when home. Can’t wait.
Thank you for the response.
Thanks John. That was exactly what I was looking for. So easy it’s embarrassing lol.
