I apologize if this has been answered before, but I couldn’t find. I’m a complete noob, sorry bout that too lol. I just got EZD2 and I love it!!!! I’m just trying to figure out the best way to get my grooves from my laptop to GarageBand in my iPad. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!! JoeV
Hi,
the MIDI library depends on the plugin interpreting the grooves correctly; there are headers and what not in the formatting that is useless for anything else but a Toontrack plugin.
If you drag grooves from the EZdrummer 2 plugin to Songs in Garageband on your Mac, they will of course be there when you open the song on your iPad but having the EZdrummer 2 grooves in your loop library on your iPad is not possible.

Thanks John!!! I figured drag and drop wasn’t an option but hoping there’s another way. Thinking there is a way to render?(not sure that’s the right word) the ezd2 track and maybe import it into GarageBand? I’ve got mix craft on my PC as a backup and drag and drop works there but I’d rather use the iPad if possible( originally bought for recording). Thanks!! JoeV
The Song Track has an Export to WAV feature. This can be imported to GB and saved with your song if you move it over to GB on your iPad.
