Hi, I’m new to V-Drums and was looking for a decent piece to use for semi-pro recording with SD3. I’ll need to make the most of the articulations, and don’t know how different brands are covering this type of signals. The Roland TD-27 KV has the digital 3 zone snare and digital ride. Is there a difference in using SD3 with these features? I really cannot find information about this topic, and it’s frustrating! Could you please help me doing the best choice?
For instance, I’ve just seen that Efnote 3X has 3 zones crash, while Roland TD-27KV does not. Why isn’t Toontrack releasing an articulations compatibility table with the various vendors?
You can choose the articulations you need for your edrum and deactivate those you won’t, it would be nice if the current included midi mappings do that according to your edrum but due to the fact that there is a lot of variations it would be a huge task.
