Best ezd2 options for me please help

Ok, so I’ve been doing some research and am about ready to pull the trigger but want to check here first..I want to use ezd2 In stand alone via my Yamaha dtx900 module to play live gigs but I keep hearing all this talk of latency..I am going to buy a new pc with a i5 or i7 processor with 8 gigs of ram just for this along with a aiso4 driver..Now is it going to be faster for me to go from module to pc via usb 3.o and audio out from pc headphone jack to mixer ooorrr..Module to to audio interface via midi cables and is either one of these going to get me to a unnoticeable latency I need to do this..Also is there anything else I need to concider speedwise to get me to where I need to be..Thanks!!!!!
