just want clarify. I can lay down a real bass line in Logic and bring it into ezbass converting to midi then back to Logic...
thanks.
Ooook. I’m gonna screen this! 😂 I get you can’t drag and drop in Logic so you include a “plugin” or whatever’s to link up.
I like playing bass but I’m not the cleanest bass player so using ezBass to clean up a bit and bringing it back as a DI is goal.
Yes, the Toontrack Audio Sender sends the audio from your Audio Track, where you have recorded the bass, to the Tracker page in EZbass.
The cleaner the sound on your audio, the easier it is to get good results quickly in the Tracker but play with thresholds for Amount of notes, etc.
You cannot only edit the interpreted notes in the Tracker, once it’s MIDI you can edit further.

Does the tracker conversion to midi need to align with bars or can it convert a live bass line?
It doesn’t need to but it helps if there is a set tempo with audio following that. You can change tempo in the Tracker but when the audio is converted you can edit the MIDI further and change Tempo and Time signature on the Song Track.
