Hi,

what do you mean?
Since you trigger this instrument via keyboard or program it, there is no difference in playing a 5-string bass or a 4-string bass, as it is IRL.
You can choose whether you use the lower B-string or not, the E, A, D and G-strings are all still there.

How can I best explain this now?

Neither do I want to see a bearded man wearing an evening gown, any more than I want to see a bass that has more than four strings.

It’s a personal thing.

A decent bass has four strings.

An indecent bass has no place on my monitor 😉

I suppose Toontrack will not change the GUI. So, I suppose I keep going with Ample Sound bass.

OK,

so you would be OK with EZbass if there was an option to simply change the graphics and disable the B-string?

Sounds like a wish for the ‘Requests & Feedback’ section, then?
